The last few years were extremely challenging; thus most of us received lots of bad news, which increased our anxieties and insecurity. Now; this good news can empower you and me to no longer feel anxious, insecure, isolated and unloved.
Most importantly, our perfect gift comes directly from the Almighty King of the universe; our heavenly Father. He wants us to know that every good gift, and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from Him, the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning. Thus there is no change of mind; and no ifs about our perfect gift. James 1:17.
Moreover; this is how our heavenly Father ensures us, why we shall receive His perfect gift; “I have engraved thee upon the palms of my hands”. Yes, “I have loved thee with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee”. This revelation seals our receiving of this perfect gift. Isaiah 49:16, and Jeremiah 31:3.
Receiving this great news of our perfect gift, will eliminate misapprehension about our heavenly Father, cunningly spread by Satan’s deceptive lies that we are alone, unloved; and face an uncertain and insecure future.
Eliminating Satan’s cruel misrepresentation of God could not be done by force. The use of force is contrary to the principles of our heavenly Fathers kingdom; where He wants us to live. He desires our loyalty out of love for Him; and such love cannot be commanded, nor gained by force or authority.
So, He wants to awake our trust in Him by love. And His character of infinitely selfless love had to be manifested in contrast to the character of Satan and his lies. Yet the only one, who knew the extent of our heavenly Father’s love for us, was His only begotten Son Jesus.
Thus, our heavenly Father showed his love toward us; that, while we were still sinners, Christ His Son “died for us”. Romans 5:8.
So; the evidence of His selfless love for us is our perfect gift, which is eternal life. For our heavenly Father gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him does not perish, but has everlasting life. John 3:16.
All our heavenly Father desires from us today, is to spend time reading His holy Word; believe in His beloved Son, and love Him as He loves us now, and evermore.
