By establishing heaven, in the midst of the waters, on day 2; God divided the already present waters; into upper, and lower portions. And on day 3; continued reshaping the formless; void, deep dark place under the waters; called earth. (Genesis 1:2).
Thus; the bible text in Genesis 1, verses 9 and 10; reveals the following.
“And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so”.
“And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called the Seas: and God saw that it was good”.
So; on day 3 gathering the waters under the heaven, unto 1 place; God allowed dry land; underneath the waters to appear.
Thus, God did not create dry land on day 3; He let dry land appear it was already there, created in eternity past at the creations of the heavens and earth (the place).
Waters gathered unto 1 place; God called Seas; and saw that it was good. Where was that 1 place located?
Most likely the deep dark place (abysos) under the waters (and now underneath the dry land called Earth (with capital E). Genesis 7:11, refers to the (fountains) waters of the great deep (underneath the waters) being broken up, when the flood came.
Why; was it good; and: good for what will be revealed on day 5.
Moreover, since the formless; void, deep dark place under the waters, called earth (with lower case e), already existed; why; did God let dry land appear; and called it Earth (with capital E)?
And why did God create heaven, as a firm expanse; holding waters above the Earth?
Amazing answers, to these questions will become partially evident in the second part of day 3 creating; and by the end of the 6th day; all answers will be evident.
Thus, the next blog will reveal the amazing origins; of grass, herbs yielding seed; and fruit trees; this will completes divine creating on day 3.
