For a while we heard rumours of potential wars, involving America and China; Russia and Ukraine; Israel and Iran.
Now Russia and Ukraine, 2 brotherly countries and members of the former USSR; are involved in an extremely dangerous war to themselves, and the whole world.
Thus time is of crucial importance; the sooner necessary compromises are made; and agreed documents signed, the war stops; and peace is restored.
However; the longer it takes, things can get out of control for whatever reason, which could escalate to a nuclear warfare; that potentially triggers the 3rd world war.
It’s remarkable that 2000 years ago, the Prince of Peace Jesus Christ, warned His disciples: “… ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars…For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in diverse places, and there shall be famines and troubles…” (Mark 13:7-8).
The sceptics may say that for centuries there were wars, rumours of wars, famines, earthquakes and diverse troubles around the world; so what’s different now?
It’s their global frequency, and intensity that is without precedent; which is a warning that Jesus is coming sooner than we thought.
“But that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be”. (Matthew 24:37-39)
Thus, it’s time to take a serious look at the events of the world around us; read Bible prophecies like never before; and prepare ourselves to be ready for Jesus return.
“For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts”. (2nd Peter 1:16 and19).
