Human history and existence is flooded with diverse wars and beginnings. Like most things, beginnings and wars had their origins and causes.
Likewise, the biblical records of cosmic origins reveal its 2 beginnings; and in between then the war in heaven.
Before any beginnings, God the Father, the only begotten Son of God, and the Holy Spirit of God (the Godhead); inhabited Eternity, the expression of their relational character of infinitely selfless love, that permeates divine law and principles of all life, peace, freedom, equality; and perfect order of the universe, and eternal existence.
Then, in eternity past; the Godhead expressed that love, through the Word of God, that created the universe; and all things to share that with zillions of created angels.
This was the beginning, before any, and all other beginnings; recorded in the Gospel of John chapter 1; verses 1 to 5.
Then, eternal existence of perfect peace and dynamic of infinitely selfless love; was shattered by the war in heaven.
“And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him”. (Revelation chapter 12: verses 7 to 9).
Earth was then a formless, void and darkness filled place; the Godhead established in accord with their plan of salvation “before the foundations of the world were laid”. (1st Peter 1:20).
This place was a core, in divine plan of salvation to counter the potential raise of evil, sin, and death; and provide redemption restoring eternal life in the universe.
Thus, after the war in heaven, and casting out of Satan and his angels; the Godhead preceded with their most crucial contingency; the establishing of a world governed by a planetary time clock, according to the divinely prepared timetable.
Then, in the beginning of time, this in advance created formless, void, and dark place was separated from darkness; and reshaped into a perfect ecosystem conducive for diverse kinds of life; recorded in Genesis chapters 1 and 2.
