Biblical writings depict sin and death as a sad and tragic truth that is and has always been self evident. Everybody eventually dies; thus death is inevitable for each one of us. Much is written and known about death and dying; but only the Bible provides reasons WHY we die. Death is the wages of sin; and sin is transgression of God’s law known as Ten Commandments. The first 4 address our love to GOD, and the next 6 our love for all others including our enemies. Ok, but where and how did sin originate? Surprisingly, its origins come out of heaven; where an exalted angel named Lucifer transgressed GOD’s Laws; declared himself as god; thus deceived a third of heavenly angels; incited a rebellion and went to war against God. The Lucifer led rebels lost the war; and living a lawless wicked life away from God, they transformed and changed. Lucifer became Devil and Satan; and his angels became demons and evil spirits. Using lies, Satan deceived the first man; thus sin spread also to planet earth and infected all mankind. However, Bible truth goes beyond realities of sin and death; it includes the great good news known as the Everlasting Gospel. Accordingly thus, God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
